Additional Details

Maria Weston Chapman (1806-1885), abolitionist, feminist, author and editor compiled two small books titled "Right and Wrong in Boston." They chronicled the activities of the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society with fugitives. There were three Chapman sisters, all active in the Society, but Maria was certainly the most active and outspoken.
